1. Acceptance of Terms

If you are using the Website on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and references to “you” include the organization.

These Terms apply to all pages on officeopstools.com, including calculators, estimators, guides, and supporting content. Some tools may also show in-product notices (for example, a note about assumptions, rounding, or country-specific defaults). Those notices are considered part of the Terms when they apply to a feature you are using.

2. Eligibility

The Website is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Website, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are using the Website for work, your employer or organization remains responsible for ensuring your use complies with its internal policies, applicable collective agreements, and any confidentiality obligations you may have.

3. Services & Content

OfficeOpsTools provides operational calculators, estimators, checklists, and educational guides intended to help teams model time, cost, and capacity decisions. Tools may include meeting cost estimation, labor cost rollups, desk capacity planning, and training ROI calculations. The Website may change over time, including improvements to formulas, UI/UX updates, the addition of new tools, or the retirement of older pages.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time. Where practical, we aim to keep methodology stable and explain key assumptions so results remain auditable and easy to communicate across Finance, HR, and Operations.

4. Currency Selector in Tools

Many OfficeOpsTools calculators provide a currency selector for formatting outputs and reports. Supported currencies include: USD, CAD, EUR, JPY, GBP, AUD, CHF, CNY, HKD, NZD. Currency selection typically changes the currency symbol and number formatting for display purposes. Unless a tool explicitly states otherwise, currency selection does not automatically apply exchange rates.

To keep models defensible, you should confirm which approach is appropriate for your context: keep costs in the currency used by your payroll or ledger, convert inputs using your approved rate, or run scenarios by region. If a tool includes an assumptions area, use it to record the rate and date used.

5. Accounts

Some features may require an account (now or in the future). If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Do not share credentials with unauthorized users.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security risks.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

OfficeOpsTools may offer paid plans, add-ons, or premium features (“Paid Services”). If you purchase Paid Services, you agree to the pricing and billing terms shown at checkout or within the product experience. If there is a conflict between these Terms and checkout terms for a specific Paid Service, the checkout terms will control for that Paid Service.

6.1 Trials and plan changes

Trials (if offered) may convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle, depending on what is shown at the time you change your plan.

6.2 Renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. If self-serve cancellation is not available, you can request cancellation by contacting info@officeopstools.com.

6.3 Fees, taxes, and payment processing

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated. Taxes may apply. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, and your payment details are handled by those providers under their terms.

6.4 Refunds

Unless required by law, refunds are not guaranteed. If a specific plan offers a refund window, it will be shown at checkout or in the plan description and applies only to that plan.

6.5 Suspension for non-payment

If payment fails or becomes overdue, we may suspend or limit access to Paid Services until payment is resolved.

7. Your Inputs & Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all data you enter. Outputs depend on your inputs and the assumptions you select. Tools are designed to support decisions, not replace internal controls.

• Verify results before using them for budgeting, HR actions, procurement, compliance, or policy decisions.
• Confirm requirements for your jurisdiction (province/state/country), industry standards, and collective agreements.
• Use current internal policies (pay rules, benefits, overtime multipliers, approval thresholds) when applying results.
• Keep records of assumptions for audit readiness, especially for leadership reporting or business cases.

8. No Professional Advice

Laws, regulations, standards, and workplace policies vary and change frequently. Consult qualified professionals before taking action based on outputs. In Canada, consider payroll and statutory contexts such as CPP/EI, provincial employment standards, and collective agreements, where applicable.

9. Third-Party Ads & External Links

The Website may display third-party advertisements and may include links to third-party sites. Third-party sites are not under our control. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, or practices. Your interactions with third parties may be governed by those third parties’ terms and privacy policies.

14. Disclaimers

15. Limitation of Liability

20. Dispute Resolution

20.1 Informal resolution first

Before starting a formal process, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally at info@officeopstools.com.

20.2 Arbitration agreement

Except where prohibited by applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to the Website or these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court. Arbitration will be conducted in Saskatchewan, Canada, in English, by a single arbitrator. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

20.3 Class action waiver

To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be brought only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.

20.4 Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court for misuse of intellectual property, unauthorized access, or interference with systems, without waiving arbitration for other claims.
